Mekong Business Challenge

The Mekong Business Challenge was launched in 2006 as a Business Plan Competition. Founded by Prof. Stephen Paterson, Vice Rector and Chief Innovation & Entrepreneurship Officer at National University of Management, Phnom Penh, and Marco Breu, it has become one of the preeminent programs in the Mekong Region for Entrepreneurship and Business Acceleration covering Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar and Bhutan. It focuses on instilling a passion for entrepreneurship in students in their senior year or fresh graduates and collaborates with a variety of educational institutions in participating countries. The Mekong Challenge is not-for-profit and relies on corporate sponsorships and donations.
